Indera is seeking a 1:1 Part-Time Direct Support Professional in Clay, NY to assist an 18-year-old woman with community activities, events, and daily routines. The role emphasizes creativity, engagement, and reliable transportation.

The candidate should be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and have strong communication and organization skills. Flexible Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 10 pm, with opportunities for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Starting pay is $19.25/hour with increases for relevant experience.
• Location: Clay, NY; part-time schedule Thursdays and Fridays 4–10 pm.
• Must have technology to download multiple apps and follow policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 support to an 18-year-old female in Clay, NY.
• Assist with going out into the community and interacting with peers.
• Escort to events such as Friday night Magic: the Gathering and other activities.

She is looking for a DSP that can take her to Friday night Magic the Gathering in Clay and other community events. She enjoys gaming, does crafts and has a cat.The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations.
