ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC in Solvay, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a part-time position to assist a 64-year-old man with community activities, errands and daily living. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with additional hours possible.

Pay rate is $19.25 per hour. Requires at least 18 years old, clean driving record, NYS driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to download multiple apps for community use.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required with acceptable driving record.
• Must have technology to download multiple apps for use in the community.
• Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
• Effective communication and organizational skills are required.

1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Solvay, NY (JB-PM)A 64-year-old male is looking for a Direct Support Professional to support them in Solvay. He enjoys visiting local shops, playing bingo, and pursuing volunteer opportunities with Meals on Wheels or at the food bank.The ideal candidate is friendly and dependable, enjoys helping others, and will support the individual in staying connected to the community.This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.Hours and days of work: Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s 10:00 AM-2:00PM.
