Job summary

KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) / Home Health Aides to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Western Montgomery County. The DSP role combines caregiving and life coaching to promote independence, community involvement, and personal goal achievement.

We offer two-week paid orientation, training (Medication Administration, MANDT, CPR/First Aid) and paid onboarding. Positions available include full-time and part-time shifts, with a special pilot-rate of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (3 years driving experience).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as caregiver and life coach to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and shopping.
• Support communication and self-expression; help individuals participate in community activities.
• Complete general housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
• Document incidents, behavioral data, seizure charts, and medical visit forms.
