Job summary

Aurora Community Services is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team supporting adults with disabilities in residential settings. The role involves assisting with self-care, meal planning, medication administration, transportation, and following individual service plans.

We offer paid training, wage at $20 per hour, flexible scheduling with every other weekend off, opportunities for advancement, and a range of benefits including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and an employee

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background character verification/background check.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Experience with adults with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seek out opportunities for community/social integration.
• Help consumers plan and prepare their choices of fun events and outings.
• Assist with self care such as dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting.
• Medication Administration.
• Meal Preparation/Planning.
• Transportation of consumers.
• Follow individual service plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
