Aurora Community Services is seeking a Caregiver - Direct Support Professional in Castle Rock to support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. This role offers full-time or part-time hours and involves helping with community activities, self-care, medication administration, meals, and transportation.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with adults with disabilities. Travel up to 2 hours may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform transfers.
• Communicate basic English.
• Experience with adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Seek out opportunities for community/social integration.
• Help consumers plan and choose events and outings.
• Assist with self care (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Medication administration.
• Meal preparation/planning.
• Transport consumers to activities.
• Follow individual service plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
