Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to advocate for adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The DSP will support daily living activities and help individuals participate in their community with dignity. Responsibilities include assisting with household tasks, appointments, transportation, and following Behavior Support Plans and medical guidelines.

• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults with disabilities in daily living activities and community participation.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, appointments, transportation, and personal care.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines as required.
