Job summary

Dungarvin inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities. This full-time position offers multiple shifts and starts at $15.75 per hour, with a $1500 retention bonus. The role works out of New Castle, IN, and includes paid training and orientation.

You will help with daily living tasks, safety and personal growth, and work as part of a compassionate, team-oriented program committed to person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• Providing hands-on support to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental disabilities or other medical needs.
• Demonstrating patience, empathy and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks (moving, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
