Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Fond du Lac, WI. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges, helping them live independently and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor when working with individuals who have disabilities and mental health challenges.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide Support & Care: encourage individuals to meet goals per person-centered plans.
• Foster a Safe Environment: maintain a respectful, rights-driven living space.
• Meal Prep & Housekeeping: prepare meals per dietary specs; assist with laundry and cleaning.
• Transportation & Advocacy: transport to appointments and advocate on residents’ behalf.
• Medication Administration: administer medications as prescribed.
• 24/7 Availability: remain accessible in homes requiring round-the-clock care.
• Supervise Daily Activities: support life skills and social activities.
