Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in the New England area seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will assist with daily activities, including chores, meals, recreation, learning activities, and fitness.

Ideal candidates have prior experience with disabilities, basic computer skills (Therap a plus), excellent verbal and written communication, empathy and enthusiasm, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and dedication to helping others.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities including household chores, meals, recreation, and learning/fitness activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals and contribute to program planning.
• Collaborate with a collaborative, mission-driven team to deliver person-centered services.
