Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Massachusetts. You will assist with daily activities, meals, recreation, learning and fitness, while upholding person-centered care and inputting on program planning.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm and passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, household chores, meal preparation, recreational, learning, and fitness activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and contribute to program planning.
