Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct support in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, meals, housekeeping, and recreational and learning activities, while promoting independence and person-centered plans.

Starting pay is $18.35 per hour, with a pay increase upon medication certification, and a comprehensive benefits package supports health, retirement and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and dedication to helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including household chores and meal preparation.
• Support recreational, learning, and physical fitness activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served in program planning.
