Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or brain injury. The DSP will provide daily living support, including personal care, meal prep, and community participation, while following individualized plans.

The role emphasizes patient, compassionate care in a supportive environment. Part-time schedules and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees are highlighted, with starting pay at $20.50 per hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Valid driver’s license – class C or D1 – with up to 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in administering medications or supporting self-medication per guidelines.
• Experience in caregiving or community-based care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day services to program participants.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep and shopping.
• Administer medications or support self-medication as directed.
• Follow routines including Behavior Support Plans and physical therapy when required.

Direct Support Professional IIPay: $20.50awake hours (additional $1.00 differential for active MAP certification) ; $17.50/asleep hoursSchedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4PM-8PM, Friday 9AM-3PM, Saturday 8AM-4PMSupport Advocate is a direct support professional (DSP) position at Seven Hills Foundation. They act as a caregiver for a wide range of individuals with an intellectual disability, developmental disability, or an acquired brain injury (ABI or TBI). To assist and/ or teach individuals varying levels of personal care which may include bathing, toileting, teeth brushing etc. so individuals always look and feel their best. To assist and/ or teach individuals household maintenance, meal prep and/or shopping, while providing ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control & responsibility over their daily lives. Support Advocates may also accompany individuals on appointments as well. Administering medications (or supporting them to self-medicate) in accordance with residential guidelines.
