Seven Hills Foundation is hiring Direct Support Professional II - Asleep Overnight in Massachusetts. This overnight DSP role involves assisting individuals with disabilities, administering medications as needed, and supporting daily living activities in a residential setting.

The position offers overnight shifts Thursday through Saturday, with a pay rate of $20.50 during awake hours and an additional $1.00 differential for MAP certification; asleep hours pay $17.50.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in direct care or related field preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care to program participants, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, and shopping.
• Accompany participants to appointments as needed.
• Administer or support self-administration of medications per guidelines.
• Follow routines outlined in Behavior Support Plans and care plans.
• Contribute to community participation and daily living skills.

They act as a caregiver for a wide range of individuals with an intellectual disability, developmental disability, or an acquired brain injury (ABI or TBI). To assist and/ or teach individuals varying levels of personal care which may include bathing, toileting, teeth brushing etc. so individuals always look and feel their best. To assist and/ or teach individuals household maintenance, meal prep and/or shopping, while providing ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control & responsibility over their daily lives. Support Advocates may also accompany individuals on appointments as well. Administering medications (or supporting them to self-medicate) in accordance with residential guidelines.
