All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care for clients in their homes. You will perform personal care tasks, support daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence in a home-like setting.

The role involves documenting activities, following care plans, and transporting clients to appointments or community activities. A DSP certification or equivalent experience with IDD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass a background check.
• Driver's license with valid auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• DSP certification or equivalent experience with IDD.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and health-related tasks.
• Document daily activities and record progress.
• Support client independence and safety.

External Job Description

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older
• Pass background check\
• Driver's license with v alid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or Copy of high school diploma/transcript or General Education Development (GED) diploma; and at least six (6) months of experience providing behavioral health related services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), or documented experience providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities
