All Ways Caring HomeCare in Georgia is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate in-home care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting.

Qualified candidates are 18+, with a background check, a valid driver's license with auto insurance, and a DSP certification or a HS diploma with required experience. We offer flexible schedules, daily pay options, tuition reimbursement, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Six months of experience preferred.
• Pass background check required.
• Driver's license with valid auto insurance.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or copy of HS diploma/transcript or GED, plus at least six months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, feeding and mobility; monitor health and provide related tasks.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encourage self-help activities.
• Implement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans.

External Job Description

All Ways Caring Home Care is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older
• Six months of experience preferred
• Pass background check
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or Copy of high school diploma/transcript or General Education Development (GED) diploma; and at least six (6) months of experience providing behavioral health related services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), or documented experience providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities
