All Ways Caring HomeCare in Richlands, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate in-home care for clients, promoting independence, dignity, and safety in a home setting.

You will support personal care, monitor health, document care, and help clients with daily activities. Afternoon shifts near home are available, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or GED diploma with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with hygiene, feeding, and ambulation.
• Medical monitoring and health care related tasks.
• Fostering positive relationships with individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities.
• Implementing Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
• Managing behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeping accurate daily documentation of activities, medications, goals and data.

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older
• Pass background check
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or Copy of high school diploma/transcript or General Education Development (GED) diploma; and at least six (6) months of experience providing behavioral health related services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), or documented experience providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities
