All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate in-home care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities include personal care tasks, documentation, and transport support. The role emphasizes fostering relationships, self-help, and adherence to Individual Service Plans, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviours by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned.
