All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encourage self-help activities and promote independence.
• Implement Individual Service Plan and Behavioral Support Plans.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours when needed.
• Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, medications, and data tracking.
• Transport individuals to activities and medical appointments.

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage Individual's behaviours by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Other duties as assigned.
