Job summary

Supports in Bentonville, AR is seeking dedicated care assistants to support a male client in his home and community settings. Primary shifts Monday–Friday 8am–4pm with options for additional fill-in and weekend shifts.

You will help with daily routines, personal care, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and support his pursuit of a welding program. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.

• Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines including personal care, household tasks (meal prep, laundry, home upkeep), and medication reminders.
• Provide transportation to appointments and support physical therapy goals as needed.
• Coach budgeting and banking skills to support independence and transition into a welding program.
• Support the client to stay engaged in community activities and relationships.

Supports to Provide:

• Daily Routines: Assist with personal care, household tasks (meal prep, laundry, home upkeep), and medication reminders.
• Independence & Career: Coach him on budgeting/banking skills and support his transition into his welding program.
• Health & Wellness: Provide transportation to appointments and support his physical therapy goals for his knee (prompting exercises and reporting progress).

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Clearances: Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (essential for community outings).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Working Conditions
