Job summary

Seven Hills seeks a Direct Support Professional I to provide direct care and supervision for youth in 24/7 residential programs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team under a Shift Supervisor, fostering a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment to support emotional growth and positive behavior.

This essential role may require extra hours during emergencies to meet staffing needs and ensure continuity of care. Hiring for full-time, on-site work in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Valid driver's license (class C or D1) with 3 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to engage with youth in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of youth; provide therapeutic interaction.
• Document shift notes, logs, and care activities.
• Operate within CPI crisis intervention guidelines when needed and escalate concerns to supervisory staff.
• Maintain program cleanliness and assist with chores, meals, and routines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support emotional growth and positive behavior.
