Seven Hills Foundation seeks a Direct Support Professional I - HBTS to provide direct behavioural therapy to children aged 3–21 in home and community settings. The role emphasizes partnering with families and licensed clinicians to promote social, communication, and self-care skills.
The position offers a part-time, fixed weekday shift (Wednesday 3:30 pm–7:30 pm) with a $24.00/hour pay rate and a $500 sign-on bonus. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.
Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) workers provide specialized intensive direct support services for children with a wide range of disabilities living at home. Working collaboratively with a licensed health care professional and family members, services are provided in the home and community in age-appropriate settings with the intent of developing social skills, communication, and positive behavior. Seven Hills has opportunities for direct support professionals with many years of experience, as well as for college students, stay-at-home moms and dads, paraprofessionals, or teachers looking for a part-time employment. Provide direct behavioural therapy to individuals ages 3 to 21, including role modeling and training to parents and families. Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person-centered, service delivery which meets all identified needs of the child and family. The professional provides assistance to the child with self‑help and self‑care as well as teaching of social and safety skills when applicable. Ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program. All duties will vary depending on the specific needs of each child.
