Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a Direct Support Professional I to support individuals with disabilities, helping with daily activities, community participation, and personal care. Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, individualized support that promotes health, safety and well-being.
• Assist with daily living needs and help individuals participate in activities that support independence.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and document progress as required.
• Support medical and nutritional needs per prescribed instructions and guidelines.
• Administer medications when trained and authorized, as per policies.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and help access needed services.
• Encourage relationships, social connections and community participation.
• Communicate openly with coworkers and nursing staff for coordinated care.
• Attend required trainings and maintain certifications (CPR, First Aid).

What You’ll Do

• Provide respectful, individualized support that promotes each person’s health, safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Assist with daily living needs and help individuals participate in activities that support their independence and quality of life.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and support strategies, documenting progress and collecting information as required.
• Support individuals’ medical and nutritional needs by following prescribed instructions, residential guidelines, and direction from nursing and medical professionals.
• Administer medications in accordance with applicable policies and requirements when appropriately trained and authorized.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and help them access needed services.
• Encourage meaningful relationships, social connections, communication, and participation in community activities.
• Assist with shopping and everyday activities that create opportunities for community engagement.
• Communicate openly with coworkers and nursing staff to maintain consistent, coordinated care.
• Participate in staff meetings, required training, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain required training and certifications, including applicable medication administration, CPR, and First Aid requirements.
• Follow Seven Hills Foundation policies and procedures, including scheduling, crisis response, and communication expectations.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
