Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities across Lackawanna County, PA, including Scranton and Taylor.

This role helps individuals live safely and with dignity; full and part-time hours are available, with a $1,000 signing bonus and hourly wages of $17–$25. Training is provided; a valid driver’s license is required, with weekly pay and benefits based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Comfortable with personal-care and behavioral-support needs.
• At least 18 years old and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and lift/transfer if needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training and work independently.
