Job summary

Pinnacle Developmental Care in Oregon is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

You will deliver direct care for daily living activities, support medical and behavioral needs, and foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a State of Oregon background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license + reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Ensure the individuals you support receive appropriate care for their medical and behavioral needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
