Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role includes assisting with daily activities, chores, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness, while representing residents’ needs in program planning.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm and dedication to helping others.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and recreation.
• Support learning activities and help residents stay physically active.
• Represent residents' needs and provide input on program planning.
