Chimes, a mission-driven nonprofit, seeks a Direct Support Professional in Milton, DE to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. The DSP role is scheduled Sunday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, with paid training and ongoing development.

You’ll provide hands-on support, assist with personal care, follow care plans, document progress, and help with community engagement.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Disability services experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect
• Assist with personal care including: dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress
• Administer medications in accordance with policy
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Use approved behavior support techniques
• Encourage community engagement and participation
• Some DSP roles will require travel and support from Residential to Day programs
