The Department for Persons with Disabilities is seeking a Direct Support Professional/Residential Counselor to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their group homes. You will be responsible for personal care, medication administration, and engaging residents in community activities.

Qualifications

• Motivated to act in the best interest of residents.
• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Administer medication and engage in documentation.
• Supervise community-based activities and transportation.
