Job summary

The Fargo Vocational Training Center in Fargo, ND is seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the day program. The role involves supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in vocational and social settings, and accompanying individuals to off-site activities.

Benefits include paid training and excellent benefits with a day shift schedule—no weekends. Starting pay is $17.12/hour DOE, with hours typical from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and potential evening/weekend

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver's license.
• Preferred: previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in vocational and social settings.
• Accompanying individuals to off-site activities.
• Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on individual needs.
• Supervising crews on and off-site performing a number of different vocational services.
• Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment.
• Complete Certificate with ND Direct Care Careers.
