As a DSP, you will assist with daily living activities, support community engagement, and be a compassionate, reliable presence during family visits, milestones, or shared moments. A caring, communicative person will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and provide physical assistance when needed.
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Help individuals live independently by assisting with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and taking medication.
• Support community engagement, whether that’s a walk in the park or attending a local event.
• Be a steady presence during family visits, milestones, or shared moments like a cup of coffee.
• Advocate for each person’s rights and help build confidence and self-esteem.
• Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support.

At Gallagher Services, we believe that every person deserves a life filled with meaning, independence, and relationships that matter. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.

Work Schedule

Monday-Wednesday 7 AM - 3 PM ; Thursday and Friday 1 PM - 9 PM

You’ll spend your days supporting a group of fun, vibrant individuals who enjoy:

• Listening to music
• Engaging in conversation

How You’ll Support

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
