IMPACT, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Full-Time) in CT to help promote inclusion and social-emotional growth for individuals served.

The role involves health and development support, collaboration with staff, and active involvement in Behavioral Support Plans and ISP goals. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a valid CT driver's license with reliable vehicle, and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with CT registration and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.
• Essential physical skills to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 50 pounds (or ¼ of own body weight).

The DSP is responsible for the health, well-being, and development of individuals we serve and works in conjunction with other staff members to provide the best possible care for all individuals. Requirments

• Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification.
• Essential physical skills to be able to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, be able to lift at least 50 pounds (or ¼ of own body weight), push/pull against potential resistance, and be able to implement non-physical and physical intervention and CPR with individuals supported when needed.

Minimum Education And Experience Required

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. Associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, or related field preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of the job experience preferred but will train motivated candidates.
