Job summary

Willows Way in Missouri is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide high-quality support in clients' homes. No experience required; paid training provided.

You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and help clients achieve self-determination and community connections. Shifts include full and part-time options in North St. Louis Co. and St. Charles Co.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
• Reliable vehicle for job use; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to foster self-determination, security and meaningful relationships in their community.
• Assist with daily life activities including personal care and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Complete required documentation including medication records, observations, progress towards goals, and financial transactions.
• ISL participants receive support 24/7 in their own homes; some weekend shifts may be required.

(No Experience Required. Paid Training provided)

Full and Part-Time Shifts in North St. Louis Co. and St. Charles Co. (St. Peters and O'Fallon)

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Support each individual so that he/she will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have the opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community.
• Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care, bathing, house-hold chores, shopping, recreational and social activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.

• Complete all required documentation to include medication record, observation notes, progress of clients' goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
• Individuals in ISL program receive support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week while living in their own homes.
• Shift times and hours vary from each home. All DSP's are expected to work some weekend shifts.
