Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Residential Services team in Oskaloosa, IA. You will assist individuals with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement, enabling greater independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift.
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
