Job summary

West Bay RI is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual, developmental, and emotional disabilities live more independent lives at home and in the community.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules with a new pay rate of $21.50–$22.50 per hour plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with weekend availability required and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Preparing meals and supporting dietary needs.
• Helping with household tasks and errands.
• Transporting individuals to appointments and activities.
• Administering medications and treatments per policy.
• Encouraging independence and community involvement.
• Maintaining documentation and following care plans.
• Promoting a safe, respectful living environment.
• Participating in required training and development.
