Job summary

Direct Care and Treatment is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work as Direct Support Professionals – Human Services Technician in Mahnomen, MN. This part-time posting covers day, evening, and overnight rotations with travel to accompany clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, medications, and safety, with a focus on compassionate, respectful care for Minnesota’s vulnerable residents. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current and valid driver's license
• Basic math skills
• Clear communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with work, recreation, and activities of daily living
• Lift/move/position individuals as needed
• Administer medications and follow instructions
• Respond to medical emergencies including first aid and CPR
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and activities
• Respond therapeutically to individuals with challenging behaviors
