Job summary

Help at Home is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Earn $18 per hour with flexible shifts, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

The role involves one-on-one support, daily living skills, and documenting progress while promoting independence and dignity. Training provided; background checks required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and required training.
At least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Document care, activities, and progress and communicate with team.
Support individuals to live as independently as possible.
