Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Independence, MO. Start at $17 per hour with opportunities for growth, training, and flexible scheduling.

You will help clients with daily living activities, accompany them to appointments, and support meaningful community engagement. Prior experience and CPR/First Aid readiness are valued, with benefits including medical plans and weekly direct deposit.

Qualificações

• Minimum age 18+ and at least 1 year DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training before first shift; Level 1 Med Aide preferred.
• Weekend availability required at least one weekend per month.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal care, meal prep, cleanup, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Provide companionship and encouragement to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, or community activities.
