Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cherokee, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to provide personal care as needed.
• Lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and help clients reach personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals and hygiene.
• Support community participation and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
