ALL LOVE HOME at ASPGM LLC in Inkster, MI is hiring a dependable Direct Support Professional to assist adults in an adult foster care home. You will help with personal care, transport residents, and follow individualized plans while upholding privacy and rights.

Responsibilities include documenting medications, driving for appointments, meals, and daily tasks, with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting company requirements.
• Ability and willingness to safely transport residents and reliably report to work.
• Scheduling availability that meets the requirements above.
• Ability to communicate respectfully, follow written care instructions, document accurately, and learn required technology.
• Ability to perform essential care and safety duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Meet applicable background screening and employment eligibility requirements.
• Complete required orientation, CPR/First Aid, recipient rights, medication, and resident-specific training.
• One year of direct care, adult foster care, group home, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals, mobility, and daily routines.
• Follow each resident's Plan of Service and support independence while protecting privacy and rights.
• Administer and document medications only after training and authorization; report refusals or errors.
• Drive an authorized vehicle for appointments and resident transportation.
• Prepare meals, and complete cleaning, laundry, inventory, and vehicle care tasks.
• Complete accurate care notes, medication records, incident reports, transportation logs, and supply records.
• Observe and report health, behavior, or safety changes; follow emergency procedures.
• Use company systems; complete shift handoffs and required training.
• Stay awake, attentive, and maintain professional boundaries.
