Job summary

Good Company AOP Inc in Detroit is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals with diverse needs in the Detroit area. You will help with daily living activities, monitor health, and promote independence while ensuring safety.

Join a team dedicated to dignity and quality care; CPR and First Aid certification is required, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in direct care or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on support for clints daily.
• Support clients with daily living activities and promote independence.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Document client progress and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
