Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. Start with $16.00–$17.00/hr plus a $1,000 signing bonus.

Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid training, and growth opportunities exist within a team‑oriented environment. As a DSP you’ll assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live more independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Paid training provided; prior disability-care experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support flexible schedules (full-time and part-time).
• Receive weekly pay and bonus opportunities (e.g., referral bonus).
• Paid onboarding and training; opportunities for advancement.
• Invitations to company events and peer DSP socialization.
