Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. in Gardner, MA, seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support independence, accompany clients to appointments, and help with daily living activities within a respectful, inclusive environment.

The role includes paid training, a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour, and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff. 38 hours per week with flexible weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate actively in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and daily routines.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines; assist with appointments and transportation.
