Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

You will work one-on-one, support daily living activities, promote independence, and follow each person's ISP. This role offers flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey.

If you are 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification, join our supportive team and grow with a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
