Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Marion, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate in-home support for individuals with IDD. You’ll assist with daily living, accompany clients on errands, engage in activities they enjoy, help with meals, and support community integration.

A fulfilling role with flexible shifts and developmental opportunities; one year of relevant experience preferred, diploma required.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
