Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes. You will provide personal care, accompany clients to activities, help with meals, and support community integration in a flexible, friendly environment.

Applicants should have at least one year of verifiable disability-care experience and be capable of working independently in home settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home/community.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
