Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You'll work one-on-one, following each client's ISP, to promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey, with competitive pay of $18–$24 per hour, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and meal preparation.
• Support independence and participation per the client's ISP.
• Document services and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with individuals served.
