Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $16.00-18.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid over 1 year. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid training, and opportunities for advancement make this a meaningful role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety within a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
