Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. DSPs help develop life skills, participate in meaningful activities, and build independence under supportive plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and required screenings.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in community activities, social events, and personal interests.
• Assist with daily living skills, meals, budgeting, and transportation as needed.
• Provide personal care and health support per plans and safety guidelines.
• Document progress and maintain timely service records; use electronic scheduling systems.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and care teams; demonstrate professionalism and reliability.
