All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background check required.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED; DSP certification preferred or six months of relevant experience in behavioral health/I/DD.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including basic hygiene, grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Medical monitoring and health care related tasks as needed.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encourage self-help activities.
• Implement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
• Manage behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, medications, goal and data tracking, and other documentation.
• Transport individuals to activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

• Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encouraging self-help activities

• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or Copy of high school diploma/transcript or General Education Development (GED) diploma; and at least six (6) months of experience providing behavioral health related services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), or documented experience providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities
