Addus HomeCare is hiring an entry-level Direct Support Professional to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Transport member to appointments and daily errands as needed.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administering).
• Observe and report changes in member's condition.
