Addus HomeCare is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. Earn up to $15.68 per hour with flexible hours and daily/weekly pay options.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, housework, transportation, meal prep, and supporting medication routines with reporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of in-home care experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments and daily errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report changes in member's condition.
